These townhomes includes street-facing live/work units and off-street residential units in a rapidly changing industrial area near Alki Beach. The exterior features cool metal panels and warm cedar plank siding while repeated bays capture stunning views of Elliott Bay and downtown. A sawtooth roof creates interior vaulted spaces and provides correctly oriented roofs for future photovoltaic panels and an evacuated tube hot water heating system. Operable clerestory windows pull soft northern light into the stairwells and interior of the townhomes while providing natural ventilation.
