Seattle

CLIENT: DB2
UNITS: 10
GSF: 20,500
CONSTRUCTION VALUE: $1.7 million
COMPLETED: In progress

NK partnered with DB2 to analyze the zoning code and break the typical townhouse pattern by putting parking below ground. This townhouse project, located near the 15th Ave retail corridor in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood increases density while creating a feeling of spaciousness. A lively, attractive series of private patio spaces are located in what would historically be a parking lot. Individual entrance stoops provide direct access to the sidewalk create a facade that resembles traditional row houses found in East Coast cities.
