This renovation of a 1960s house on a sloping, hilltop site in the Magnolia neighborhood opened up the floorplan and introduced a series of exterior terraces to take advantage of the views of Elliott Bay. Despite dramatically changing the appearance of the existing house, NK was able to reuse the original foundation and significant portions of the original structure creating an airy yet cohesive, modern home.
