This townhome development in Kirkland’s historic Market Street district transforms a parking lot and aging commercial building into a gracious multifamily community. Generous landscaping and outdoor patios create outdoor living space buffered from busy Market Street. A palette of brick and natural wood ties the clean modern lines of the project with the older brick buildings nearby. Upturned roof profiles maximize glazing to capture natural light.

Units contain double masters, guest suite, outdoor living space and an open floor plan. A skylight over the open stairway brings light into the center of the unit on all three levels. Two car garages are accessed off the alley while a strong street presence faces Market Street. The street façade achieves variety through the use of bay windows, canopies, entry niches, and varied roof lines.
