The Bell View project is part of the renaissance of Seattle's Melrose Promenade. The building will be perched on the hillside directly above the thoroughfare, allowing residents to enliven the bike and pedestrian path and bring "eyes to the path." Generous west-facing windows will capture panoramic views of Lake Union, Downtown Seattle, the Space Needle, and the Olympic Mountains beyond. These windows, made of double-laminated high-performance glazing, will also shield interior spaces from the noise of I-5 below. To ensure healthy interior air quality, two heat recovery ventilation (HRV) units will provide a continuous stream of filtered, fresh air to all west-facing units while boosting the building’s energy performance.
Melrose Promenade has been on and off the City's radar for years, so it's great to be part of its renaissance today."
