Stream Belmont is a 6-story, 70-unit apartment building situated on an infill lot in Seattle’s desirable Capitol Hill neighborhood. Stream Belmont’s contemporary, yet contextual aesthetic design complements neighboring buildings and enhances its curb appeal with creative use of durable brick and composite materials mixed with natural cedar siding. Well-designed floor plans, high ceilings and huge windows maximize the space to create open, bright studio and 1-bedroom units.
Combining livability with sustainability, residents of Stream Belmont enjoy close proximity to downtown, modern interiors, abundant natural light, rare individual outdoor spaces, and panoramic views of downtown, the iconic Space Needle and the Olympic Mountains from the rooftop deck. Sustainable selections include high-efficiency energy star appliances, LED and fluorescent lighting, water saving plumbing fixtures, no or low volatile organic compounds (VOC) in paints, sealants, adhesives and carpets, and reclaimed storm water. The building’s use of reverse cycle air-to-water chillers capture ambient air in the garage to heat the hot water for the building – a system that is 75% more efficient than traditional boilers. Stream Belmont was also constructed with a Net Zero Carbon Footprint as a participant in Forterra’s C3 program.
